Nopixgo protects from mosquitoes

Mosquito-Safe Asia Q&A

What diseases are spread by mosquitoes? According to Wikipedia:  malaria, dengue fever, West Nile virus, chikungunya, yellow fever, filariasis, tularemia, dirofilariasis, Japanese encephalitis, Saint Louis encephalitis, Western equine encephalitis, Eastern equine encephalitis ("EEE"), Venezuelan equine encephalitis, Ross River fever, Barmah Forest fever, La Crosse encephalitis, and Zika fever, as well as newly-detected Keystone virus and Rift Valley fever. There is no evidence (yet) that the "Novel Corona Virus" (known as "2019-nCoV") can be transmitted by mosquitoes.
How many people get mosquito-borne diseases every year? Nearly 700 million people get a mosquito-borne illness each year resulting in over one million deaths.
How does Nopixgo work?

Our "Survival guide to man's biggest enemy"  explains how mosquito behavior (including feeding) is controlled by "receptors" that send information to their nervous system, where their DNA tells them how to react. Nopixgo uses a patented "Biopulse" technology that tampers with some of that data, which triggers a natural protective reaction that overrides the genetic temptation to bite. Some mosquitoes may react by escaping, others remain in the area with a passive behavior while looking for shelter, or may simply appear to be confused. Some may actually land on the skin of the one wearing the Nopixgo without attempting to bite.

Some of the receptors gather atmospheric data that helps them avoid being caught in a storm. Popular Science Magazine said: "Raindrops are to mosquitoes what falling VW Beetles would be to humans." Mosquitoes detect changes in static electricity before a storm. Biopulse technology tricks mosquitoes into detecting dangerous weather, which may confuse them or cause them to seek shelter.

Is it safe for children and pets? Nopixgo's signal strength is less than 1% of the signal produced by a cell phone, making it completely safe for humans and pets. The owner of this company has even tested Nopixgo as a collar on his cat, which is a favorite target of big mosquitoes. While Nopixgo can protect pets, they are not as protective as humans about their property, and very active animals may lose the entire thing or damage the important electronic components, especially if they spend most of their time out of doors. If you buy a Nopixgo for your cat or dog we cannot honor the warranty.
What are the alternatives to Nopixgo?

Staying indoors is an option, although not practical or 100% safe. Covering most of your body with clothing helps deter mosquitoes, but they will bite hands, ankles and neck. Mosquitoes bite when we want to wear less clothing anyway . There are chemicals that can be applied to the skin, like N, N-Diethyl-3-Methylbenzamide (DEET), diethyl phthalate, diethyl carbate, metofluthrin, picaridin and ethyl hexanediol. If you are someone who is looking for natural health solutions, these may not be a great choice, and they are imperfect deterrents for mosquitoes. Most people do not want to spread layers of chemicals on their skin anyway.

Other wristband products are completely worthless. These normally depend on the kinds of chemicals mentioned above that are part of the wristband. These are completely ineffective and a waste of money.

Is it effective on all mosquitoes all the time? Nopixgo has been tested extensively in laboratories and in the field and is found to be extremely effective. However, nothing, including the chemicals mentioned above, is 100% effective. Nopixgo substantially reduces biting, thus your risk of annoying itching and disease,.
Is it adjustable? Nopixgo has an adjustable band that fits wrists from 13.5cm to 20cm (about 5.3 to 7.9 inches) in diameter so it fits most adults and children.
How often and how long to charge? Nopixgo normally stays charged for five to seven days, and recharging takes about one hour with the included micro-USB cable. We use high quality Li-ion batteries with an expected life span of nine years.
Is it waterproof? It is water resistant up to 1 meter of water. However, we strongly recommend that you remove our Nopixgo before you shower or jump in the pool.
What is it made of? A very durable hypoallergenic plastic case surrounding the battery and electronic components. These wristbands are built to last for may years.
